De gezellige avond in de FFS Saloon was zeer geslaagd!
Toen een aantal vrijwilligers begin januari de koppen bij elkaar stak om een gezellige avond voor en door FFS te organiseren hadden ze niet gedacht dat het zo’n succes zou worden.
In vier weken tijd is door de commissieleden Irma, Geert, Jappie, Nico en Sietze een prachtige prestatie geleverd. De manege werd volledig omgebouwd tot saloon. Iedereen die FFS een warm hart toedraagt werd uitgenodigd. Een grote veiling werd perfect georganiseerd. De catering was super voor elkaar. Sponsors werden vlot gevonden. De rodeostier, veilingmeesters, barpersoneel, kassier en juryleden gevonden. Het resultaat; een prachtige avond met zeer verrassende resultaten.
Als eerste was er natuurlijk de opkomst, hoeveel zouden er komen? Uiteindelijk zijn er meer dan 140 bezoekers geweest. Een prachtig resultaat dat de verbondenheid met de club duidelijk weergeeft. Daarnaast was er de opbrengst van de veiling. Van te voren gingen schattingen richting de € 1.500 tot € 2.000. Het totaalbedrag is uiteindelijk boven iedere verwachting uitgekomen op € 4.580!! De veilingmeesters Hedzer en Remco wisten alle items vakkundig en vlot te veilen. Topper was de compleet verzorgde maaltijd, aangeboden door onze kassier Foppie van Terwisga. Heren 4 kocht uiteindelijk deze prijs voor € 375. Topscoorders waren verder de visverkoop door Wiebe HuHu (gekocht door Tom Salverda), 2 tickets voor een vaart met de luchtballon van Dreamflights (Frans de Winter) en spuitwerk aangeboden door Jan van der Heide (Eddy Bakker).
Tot slot een hele belangrijke doelstelling van de avond: gezelligheid en onderling clubgevoel versterken. Gezien alle reacties op en na de avond is dit zeer zeker gelukt. Iedereen heeft een heerlijke avond gehad waarbij het goed was elkaar weer ‘even te zien’. Zie ook de bijgaande foto’s.
Het succes van de avond heeft de commissie zo gestimuleerd dat besloten is volgend seizoen in de winterstop opnieuw een gezellige avond te organiseren.
